What better way to spend the day then at the beach with your dog. Below are a few our favorites that are within driving range of Orlando. Note that this is not an exhaustive list, but just a few of our favorites.
1️⃣Smyrna Dunes Park

🏖️This on-leash dog beach is super cute and great for sunsets. Note: Dogs are only welcome on the inlet side and there is a long walk to the beach.
2️⃣Canova Beach Park
📍3299 Highway A1A
Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937 🏖️The closest beach to Orlando, this on-leash dog park is great for seeing if your dog likes the ocean. Bonus- Parking is free!
3️⃣Walton Rocks Beach
📍6700 South Ocean Drive
Jensen Beach, Florida 34957
🏖️Looking for an off-leash option? This beach is for you. It is rocky so there won’t be too much actual swimming happening, but it is still loads of fun.
4️⃣Fort De Soto Park
📍3500 Pinellas Bayway South Tierra Verde, Florida 33715
🏖️My favorite dog-friendly beach in the area, Fort Desoto has a huge off-leash beach and calm gulf waters. They even have a fenced grass dog park to run around in!
5️⃣ Cocoa Beach
📍Between 4th Street South to the north side of Murkshe Park.
🏖️ Allowable times for dogs to be on the beach are:
6:00 am-10:00 am year round
4:00 pm- 7:00 pm during standard time
5:00 pm – 9:00 pm during daylight savings time.
