Dog Friendly things to do in St. Pete, FL

Just two hours away from Orlando, St. Petersburg is one of our favorite destinations for a dog friendly weekend trip. With a very dog friendly downtown area, dog bars, and even a great beach, this town has something for every dog family.

What to do:

Mutts and Martinis: Does your dog like to swim? This dog bar features a wading pool out front for them to explore. This is a great chance to get your pup used to water as it is a zero entry pool. There is also a full bar and indoor and outdoor spaces to share with your dog.

Fort Desoto Dog Beach: Our favorite thing to do in St. Pete is visit the beach. While it is a drive to get down there, this park has a large off leash dog beach for you and your pup to spend the day. Bring a shade tent or umbrella and plenty of water and relax. The park also has a large enclosed dog park and restrooms for humans. (Don’t forget poop bags for the pups)
